1967 Buick Skylark Conv. $2500
The car is in very good mechanical condition, last it was on the road I drove it 300+ miles (about 5 years ago). The car would make a great project as I have over 5k already invested in it. Currently the car's main needs are body and interior work. I am looking to get the car on the road legal and inspected the week of March 10th. The car currently has 103,143 miles.
I purchased the car in 1988 at age 15 as a project / daily driver. I immediately had the body and paint work done, had a new windshield installed, and replaced the exhaust with all new from the manifold back (Single). About a year following the body renovation the engine timing chain broke and I had the engine professionally rebuilt. After the rebuild, I drove the car for about 6 month when the windshield wipers quit working (bad ground). At that time my list of items to make a state inspection had grown quite long. I parked the car for about 4 years and gradually worked on bring it up to VA inspection standards. It was during this time that I replaced the original transmission (2 speed auto Turbo 300, with a 3 speed auto Turbo 350. I still have the original 2 speed auto trans and many other extra original parts. I also replaced the upper control arm bushings and front springs. During this time I was in college so funds were scarce and the car ended up sitting a lot. Once the car was back on the road I no langer needed it as a primary vehicle so again it didn't get driven much. I did replace the radiator, tires, brakes, master cyl, and many other parts. During this time I also collected a power top motor and new original 1967 Buick bucket seat skins, Neither of which are currently installed. The car has bucket seats, console, and tilt wheel and while the conv top looks good it is starting to show it's age and could use replacing soon. Now 15 years later I'm married and have a 3 year old daughter. The car is just sitting I have lost all interest and it needs a new home.

I'll try to get VIN#s as soon as possible.

Brother-in-law doesn;t trust posting the VIN online, he'll give it to potential buyers, if this isn't acceptable then please lock or delete this post. I'll understand.
