i was all trashed one night and thought to myself, what if i had an rsx with a b-18 in it. could it happen?

 

At least you didn't think about buying a NSX and try to put a B18 in it and do a FWD conversion!!

 

anything is possible if you have the right amount dough....why would you do that though

 

1. Why would you want to? The DC5's overweight chassis needs the extra torque of the K-series just to move out of its own way.

2. This would be a very difficult swap given the DC5's cramped engine bay. The K-series is externally smaller than the B-series. It may not fit at all without custom intake and exhaust manifolds. Even then it might not work.

B series and K series rotate in different directions. If you have mad cash anything is possible.

 

why not just spend the money on type r cams, pistons, and intake manifold for your K20?

 

Rotating in different driections doesn't make a damn bit of difference as long as you use the transmission intended for the engine you're using.

People really make too big a deal about this clockwise rotation.

 

And why you would want a heavier and less powerful motor (B series) in that chassis is beyond me....
