well i just bought an 88 crx. the front end it smashed but it runs, i think i got a good deal on it. i got it for 250 bux. the interior is really dirty, but i think i can clean that up. i will have pics in a couple of days.

one question will a b20 or h22 fit?

b20 will fit, ive seen it done before, h22, not so sure about. It may, but ive never heard of it so i dunno.
if your front ends messed up and you'll have to replace it anyways, ill be the first to recommend getting a JDM front end. I'm not like one of those JDM fanatics, but if you have to replace it anyways, why not

 

i have seen an h22 swap in a crx before...actually an h22 turbo

i've heard its a lot of work though to make it fit

 

anything will fit i have read about it fitting its just a matter of the money and the time it will take time and wiring lots of it i wouldnt recomend it because i heard its a pain but whatever you feel you know but whatever you choose good luck.

 

Anything will fit if you hit it hard enough. That is ALLOT of engine to put in the front of a little car. I would aim for something a little bit smaller.

 

no, i really want an h22 in my hatch, i'm calling around for prices right now b/c i really don't feel like trying to fit it in myself-it's got to be tons of work. but an h22 in a hatch/rex would be bad ***.

 

you could out a hemi in the thing if you had the time and the know how

 

that is a damn good price...i wish i could find another rex for that price

 

if you take out (if you have) power steering and you a/c a h22 will fit in the engine bay of your rex
