Default Dust inside the projector lamp? How to clean them.

If I looked closely, I would notice little dust particles inside the low beam projectors. How did I get those in there if the headlights were sealed? and the quesiton is how do I get rid of them? I dont' want disassemble the bumper/headlights to clean them.

i don't know about everybody else, but i'm almost positive you're gonna have to remove your front bumper and dismemble your headlights via baking. do a search on "baking", it'll explain how to seperate the 2 parts of the headlight, and from there, clean them up, and re-assemble it. hope that helped

Do everything you don't wanna do to it or buy some new ones. As far as cleaning them, someone told me awhile ago that windex and paper towels do wonders.

windex =

that stuff always leaves a streaky residue, no matter what it says on the bottle about "no streaks" or whatever.

that probably wont work unless you suck out the dirt into your mouth lol. because other wise the dust would have nowhere to go other than settle back inside the headlight. Opening the headlight seems scary at first but I've heard of tons of poeple doing it with no problem at all. You might just have to face your fear and bake it. Either that or shell out $ for another headlight

How do you make the plastic clear again? They get cloudy as an old dog's eyeballs after a while.

Blowing them out might get the dust out, but compressors let out some water with the air. Especially in high humidity.

inside my projectors.. one of the bulds bursts.. so basically inside the projecter there were glass everywhere.... i took a vacum and attached a giant pixy stick straw to it and tried to vacum it out.....

it worked but.. when it the straw touched the inside of the projector lens.. it scrached the lens.. and now im stuck with a pale mark where the straw touched the lens...

so i say... just suck it up or... get a new set from the junk yard
