Im wondering if anybody tried this and how they did it? Did you use two 6x9 boxes? Or perhaps, did anybody try to cut the 6.5" hole big enough to fit a 6x9?

 

hmm i doubt the will fit unless u cut them big time....my 4 door gsr has 6x9s in ther rear though and 6.5s would be way way too small...too much of a gap on both sides.

 

maybe a pic of the integra sedan 6x9 would help me decide?

 

i have 6x9 and i think im going to try to instal them, in the side panels. i think if u take the entire side panel off, i think you can find a way to mount them. im only worried that the speaker will be mostly covered by the panel, so there would be no point to it, ima take a look at this wekeend and ill let u know how it goes

 

ive seen it be done on the rear cover that comes off above the backseat. he made custom enclosures for it underneath. came out pretty well. i believe he did that because he chose not to use subwoofers.
