90-91 teg Throttle body fixing
Ok for starters Its a 90-91 Teg T/B. The metal tube where the map sensor hose goes snapped off some how, guess in the move. Are these pressed in or screwed in, can they be replaced is the main question. Also remember a while ago about converting a DX TPS to work on a SI/HF/TEG etc MPFI t/b anybody happen to know the link or how this is done???
TIA
TIA
Just switch the two outside wires on the TPS. I am not sure about the TB if it screws in or it is pressed, no way you can get your hands on another TB?...peaCe
Those things are pressed in.
I have fixed that before, what I did was use thin brass tube I bought at a hobby store (train modeling stuff) and drilled the one in the T/B out.
You have to use a drill bit the same size as the tube you are replacing it with.
then use super glue to hold it in place.
About the DX TPS. The problem is not electrical. The DX throttle position sensor
spins opposite of all the other MPFI manifolds. So you cannot just switch wires and get it to work.

kewl, thanks for the info. Yeah I remember it as a ez fix for the TPS just couldn't find it again. I tried it with the MPFI and couldn't get .05 volts guess wires being backwards would do that
appreciate that info
