Default 4th gen tranny swap

hey i just coverted my 93 accord lx 10th ann from an automatic to a 5 speed. 2 day job. i used a trany of the same year and the lx model not the lx 10th ann. the swap went great but a couple of things i need help with.

1- the mount on the tranny (engine right side mont) is off about 1 inches to the back of the car. i had to pry it into place and if i tighten the mount nuts to the trany it will raise the tranny too high. IS THERE ANY SPECIAL MOUNTS OUT THERE TO MAKE IT WORK, OR WAT CAN I DO?

2- now that every runs, my abs light in the dash comes on after i start and drive the car for about two car lengths, CAN ANYONE HELP? remember i did swap the axles from auto to 5 speed axels

Any one with question or can help me please reply or contact me at khmaiprince1@aol.com for quick response

THANX

the axels came with the tranny
wat i did was replace my automatic axles with the manual axles
cuz the 5 speed tranny will not work with the automatic axles
the axles and tranny came out of an 93 accord lx
so it should be a simple axles swap

I don't know if the LX had ABS or not. You need to look at the axles (5spd ones) and right by the outer boot there should be a metal ring that looks like a gear with flattened worn down teeth. This is your ABS wheel sensor ring. Look at your old axles and you will see it. See if your new axles have that same ring.

LX did not have ABS. You don't have axles that will enable your ABS to have a sense of the speed the axles are rotating. You got to replace it with either EX or SE axles or say byebye to ABS.

You could always pull the CV joint apart and put the old ends on the new shafts. Replace the boot and repack the grease. It would probably be easier just to swap axles though.
