will the 12" AEM big brake kit fit behind a set of 16" slips with a 40 offset on my 96LS ? i am asking because i am considering purchasing a set of AEM big brakes, but i need to find out if they will fit behind the 16" slips.....

 

I don't have any personal experience with the AEM big brake kit, but I highly doubt it will fit behind a 16" wheel.

If you want real stopping power consider the Fastbrakes Wilwood 11" brake kit.

i have the 12" AEM and it fits behind my 16" mugen mf8...there's about 2mm clearance between the caliper and the wheel tho. I think most of the JDM wheels will allow it.

 

Slip's aren't JDM though, they are fake, do lines, fluid, pads and rotors.

 

YEah just get some powerstops, some axxis metalic pads and some bfgoodridge lines with some motul 5.1 fluid and ull stop when u want, the aem big brake kit sux on stock calipers.
