I have a b16aSiR1 that i'm puttin in my 90 CRX next thursday. The tranny has a J1 stamp on it, but the metal badge on the tranny says "S1". WTF? Which one do I have(or are they just retarded and don't know)? I got the motor from a friend, and that's the tranny that came with it, and he really doesn't know either. It looks like there was a stamp that was originally there that was blacked out and J1 stamped on the tranny, but the badge says S1. I haven't a clue which one I have. Common sense would tell me that if the actual badge starts with S1, then that's what it would be, but is there an alternate way that I can tell for sure?
