HELP! My car won't start! Part II (I've made some progress!)
OK if you remember yesterday my car wouldn't start. All the grounds are good and I double checked today. It has power and everything. Ok now today I went out and bought a new Starter and put it in. Still didn't work. Then I went and checked my ignition and stuff. I made sure that the clutch sensor wires were ok and they were. So then after that I got the car to at least crank now. It cranks for a while but still doesn't start. I haven't checked to see if I have spark but I'm pretty sure I have fuel as I can hear the injectors come on and the fuel pump come on and my Main Relay is pretty new. So if I have no spark what part of the Distributor went bad. I heard about coils and stuff. Help me out.
hey, me again
so grounds are good, have power and it cranks now
im guessing maybe your igniter in the dizzy, thats been known to go bad.
edit: why did u buy a starter?? if the car wouldnt start while u jump started it, that would mean that it probably wasnt your starter

Ok I checked everything and then I put it back together and cranked it for like a minute and it came on! Ran like **** but I gave it gas then drove it around until it warmed back up. Seems fine now. I have a theory that my + cable grounded onto the starter's metal and probably shorted it out. But oh well. Starter only cost me $60 after the core so it's ok cuz it's a better one than the old one anyway.
