Default question for those w/ lip installed on a 94-97 bumper..

so i installed my Si VTEC lip last night.. it looks great!

except there's just one thing that's bothering me.. it's tugging on the lower edges of the bumper so that they sit just a wee bit outward. i remember when i tried to install a comptech ITR lip some time ago, it did the same thing. is this normal and should i just learn to ignore it?

i don't think anyone will notice besides myself, but i'm just so ****.

just fyi, i used all the stock mount points (obviously), so there wasn't much room for error.

I mounted a Wings West front lip and found the fit to be perfect. I recently removed it for a comptech lip that is being preped at the moment.

Did you use screws or double sided tape with screws on the ends?

no, the thing mounts with clips and bolts.. 7 throughout the front, and 2 bolts on each side.

So you used the same mounting points that the OEM lip for the 98+ bumper does?

I am going to install my lip on my 94-97 bumper this weekend, and will have to make my own mounting points (woo, get to drill CF), and I am trying to find the best way to do it.

Some people said go for all the OEM lip hardware and mounting points, others have said two screws on the side and double sided tape.

not sure how 98+ lips mount, but the way mine mounted was 7 bolts and clips throughout the front, and 4 more bolts, from inside the cover; 2 on each side.
