Header install wooas
Little info first, I am putting a dc sports 4-1 header onto my b16 engine into a 90 crx. First little problem, when I droped the cross member there was alittle bracket on the bottom of the radaitor that the radiator fan is suppose to slide onto. Well you have to pull the cross member forward to slide it down off the radius arms. When I did this the cross member would get stuck on that bracket. So I had to come in with a cutting disc and cut that bracket off.
Second problem, there was a bolt that did not want to break loose. It held up the heat shield thats on the back of the old header. And the spot where it was at, it was almost impossible to get a pipe in there so I could use that as leverage.
Third major problem, the header did not just want to bolt on. I'm not sure if your suppose to remove the header studs but there was no way the header was sliding on over them. Then after I bolt the header to the head, the flange by the cat does not want to line up properly. Either the header or my cat sits on alittle angle. I also bought new gaskets, since my old header had none on them. But the gasket would not fit. I bought it for a gsr, I thought it would work. Now I'm not saying that anyone else will have these problems, it could happen. I was writing this for future referances, just incase other people have problems with it.

Its a 1 piece, and you have ot cut the crossmember to make it fit. Also it is used, and it was on the same car and engine before, so I know its the right one.
