Default NE1 using CRX SI rear swaybars on DX?

Any noticable decrease in understeer with the stock 89'+ CRX SI rear swaybars onto a DX?
Or should I just purachse a aftermarket brand?

Aftermarket CRX sway bars are not a good idea on the street unless you run both the front and back aftermarket bars. Running a stock front bar and 22mm rear bar will make the car very oversteer biased. This is preferred by autocrossers, but a dangerous situation on the streets.

I would get the SI stock rear sway bar and try that. People usually sell them for about $20. You will also need SI rear lower control arms because the DX ones don't have the mounting hole for the endlinks.

the only reason you are saying this is because you cant drive, and are stupid beyond belief....

any sway bars back there will improve your handleing, as far as oversteer goes, dont get it if you dont want oversteer, if you can handle the oversteer then go for it, if not then dont do it, i have a stock SI on my DX with TEIN's on it and thats all it needs, i get plenty of oversteer on demand.... so its up to you, for me the $17 i spent was plenty

You will also need custom brackets to mount the sway bar to the underside of the car. The holes are there but they do not have the nuts welded to them. I had a set of brackets made.

I believe you may need to look in the mirror for the stupid one. He was making a valid point concerning the use of say a Suspension Techniques Sway bar (22 mm)on the rear only. It will make the car appear to respond well to steering input but when you get into the oversteer condition it is immediate and severe. This is potentially a dangeous combination. You'll end up[ pointed in the wrong direction at best and if something happens to be in your way goodbye bodywork. If you choose to setup your car to be unstable that's your business but to make that type of blanket statement shows your gross lack of understanding of suspension dynamics.

I have the 88dx hatch w/a crx rear sway bar. we had to weld in the mounts, but do be careful on the street with that oversteer b/c it's pretty quick b/c of our short cars. I've stepped out twice in downhill intersections on accident, and the rain is just making me be extra careful...but it ain't nothing you can't tell when it is about to happen or anything.

Well, I have 89 CRX Si suspension on my 88 DX... so the sway bars will bolt on? I have the bar from the 89 CRX and the mounting brackets for a 90 Civic Si...
