JG Intake Mani.; is it shaped differently?
By my question in the topic, I mean, does it sit differently when attached? I know that the Skunk2 IM is shaped to fit like a Type R IM, what about the JG. If the JG sits like the Skunk2, is there any aftermarket manifold that will somewhat resemble the stock gs-r IM? I ask because I'm trying to plan out what I want to do to my car; I'm looking at getting an intake when I get some cash, but many say not to do that until I switch the manifold because the one recommended (Skunk2) will require a typeR shaped intake and if I get a gs-r intake made to work with the stock gs-r IM, then I basically just wasted money...
I've seen a JG Intake Mani on a GSR. It sit's with the TB in the same position and the Type-R. It's not like the stock gsr intake mani, that has the TB facing down.
Also the JG doesn't curve like the skunk2 does. If i were you i would buy the JG because it's HUGE, put a 70mm TB on a JG and you have a tremendous amount of air coming into the engine, assuming you buy an intake for a type-r like AEM.Don't buy this intake mani and use a intake meant for a gsr, or LS.

the jg intake manifold is shaped completely different from any of the itr or gsr manifolds. they don't curve upwards or towards the ground like the gsr ones do. they just go straight back towards the firewall. also in order to mount them you must remopve the support bracket for the stock manifold underneath it.
