Default Header/Cat connection spring screws..HELP!

So after attaching the carsound cat and header into place, we found the stock spring screws are too short, and no matter how hard we tried, we couldnt get them to match up and work. the header is a toda and its a carsound cat

so can we just use 2 long bolts and snug em up, or do we need to find some spring screws that are a little longer and get those to work? right now we have it lined up and one long screw we found holding it somewhat in place, but it has a MAJOR exhaust leak.

any suggestions or advice on how to get the 2 pipes to do what they are supposed to do?

two longer bolts should work with the stock springs. did for my car, but a different JDM header, but still.

the screw goes through the spring, then first through the cat then the bolt is on the header side. (u should have the top of the screw on the cat side)
