I don't recall anyone knowing 1) who's car it was and 2) who burned it.

God Reid, if the guy wants to see it again whats the big deal?
He answered the inquiry without getting butt hurt about it, so I don't know what your problem is.
I can understand Reid's statement....if he already had the picture but he just wanted to have it posted up then he should have said something different than just " I want to see it." No biggie....I still want to know the story behind that though.
OT : Damn Reid....you are on fire tonight...a lot more locked threads than normal. :burn:

ok, here's the story behind the pic.
i was awakened by my mom's voice screaming, "ken, your car is on fire!" i then jumped out of bed and ran to the kitchen where i saw a bright orange glow through the mini-blinds.
upon seeing the glow, i ran outside and saw that my car was engulfed in flames. the fire was too big to put out. i had no choice but to stand there and watch as my car maliciously burned to the ground in a series of tiny explosions.
it took an unusually long time for the firefighters to get to my house, and while we were standing there witnessing this horrific act of arson, the fire then spread and burned the passenger side of my parents' RL along with our kitchen and garage.
the firemen finally arrived and put out the fire. what got to me was when one of them had the nerve to suspect it was a member of our family that caused the fire, in an attempt to commit insurance fraud.
i'll never forget that day. the image of my type R during and after the fire has been permanently etched into my memory. every detail of the gruesome image you see above this post; the bare throttle body as a result of the intake being totally incinerated, the semi-melted and charred apex'i n1 front coilovers that i had just recently purchased, and most of all, the overall image of what was once a beautiful car, had been all of a sudden, destroyed.
even to this day i can't stop thinking about it. the people who did this, as far as i know, are still laughing at the fact and giving each other props that they destroyed my car. i know my ex-girlfriend was involved because of the fact that she was a total psycho and often talked about burning people's cars down while I was going out with her.
Why can't the police bust her ***? Quite simply, I don't have any evidence. There were no witnesses or anything. Even to this day, the only motive that I've heard she had for burning my car was that she and a group of friends were bored. My only consolation is that she'll get what's coming to her.

Carl, that is a disturbing picture and I can understand fully why you would want to catch the person(s) responsible.
Can you give us any details on what happened?
