Take your car back to the dealer and get the correct cams.

If you're not planning to upgrade your valvetrain, stick with Toda A's, Skunk 1's and i think 2's, Jun 1's and 2's. spoon cams are good with stock valvesprings but those cost a grip. I'd recommend doing your valvetrain while you're at it but if budgets a problem get something mild. Most Tuning companies make cams that are good with stock valvetrain components but it depends on the cash you have. You can upgrade to regular Type R cams but you're car's supposed to have that stock, since it doesn't, it would be better to get a mild cam setup. It retains good gas mileage and idling. This is a pretty simple problem but you really need to get back to that dealer and ask them a few questions. check out how much you want to spend and im sure everyone else will give you some opinions. There are lots of biased ppl on this board, you're gonna hear different things. stick with what you trust, do'nt half *** the job either cause it will come back around a bite you in the rear later on. Good luck with your cams man.

If you can, get a lawyer if they basically say "screw you".

I remember you now. Seriously though, if the cams aren't real then I would have your car checked out by someone to see if there are anyother missing parts.

You bought this from a dealer? Did you know that it had been hit? Is it salvaged?

i wouldnt say there are a lot of biased people on this board.... there are people who will give you information on cams based on your goals.

Unlike what Kenny stated, Skunk2 Stage 2's require an upgraded valvetrain for sure, and most will upgrade with Toda Spec A's as well. Upgrading your valvetrain enables you to rev higher, which is what you'll need to do to extract peak hp out of the Skunk2 Stage 2's.

The most important thing I'd do is go back to the dealership and try to get either a set of OEM ITR cams or a check for the cost of them. They screwed you over (intentionally or unintentionally) and they are responsible for it. I'm sorry to hear that you got screwed over - I am no stranger to that feeling. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
