Just hit a deer...wondering how much i can scheme from the insurance company
my whole front and right side are damaged, i was wondering is it possible for me to get the JDM conversion with the insurance companies money...or possibly a color change?.. if any of guys know how to do this let me know
If the left side of your car is fine, no JDM Front end for you, unless you want to pay for the difference.
well scratch the jdm conv. idea. The thing is i have a 98 ITR bumper in the shop not yet painted or installed, so when the insurance company looks at my car they will include the price of a new bumper for the trashed one now...so i will have that extra money. Now..is there any way i could somehow get a new paint job from this? As of right now it needs, new front bumper, quarter panel, door, and rear quarter panel and possilby rear bumper. I'm getting an erection thinking of my car ssbp or ebp instead of green
you need to find a body shop that you know. usually there is a estimator from the insurance company that comes to look at your car and gives you a total amount of how much the damage it worth. once you accept that value, you or the body shop dude can go around looking for cheaper parts. for example, i got in an accident and they quoted one headlight assembly for around 450ish. if you can go to the junkyard and find one for like 100, you just made an extra 350. hope that helps.
