What are your thoughts on Injen CAI's
I've always been an AEM guy ... but i was thinking of getting an Injen Race Division CAI for the 90 si. Whats your opinion on the brand compared to aem or other available for this application? Thanks in advance.
its not ceramic coated...
and I don't see a carb sticker on it..
but a few friends of mine know the owners of the company and say they are cool guys...

i have the injen cold air intake on my 91 crx w/ b16, i love it. i just put it on, i had a regular intake for a crx, and when i put it on i noticed quite a difference.

i ce man do seem good. its plastic so it would not ground out, and would maybe stay cooler?
but really i would just go with whatever is the cheapest, because they are ALL the same. i have a AEM cold air right now, and works great, i put heat wrap on it, because i had some laying around. and seems to work well. i only gout the AEM because it was used and cheap.
+ injen is kinda "rice-e" hehe

I have the Injen CAI, works good. I agree most intakes are pretty much the same, but some companies make their piping bigger than others. Also, just stay away from Matrix and APC and similar companies, ive seen a matrix cone filter actually fall apart (Yes, it really did fall apart on some guys car).
I guess I just have to decide if I want to save money and make my own (same performance, less money) ...or pay for a name brand. I must admit I enjoy a little appearence items under the hood(can we still be friends?). hmmmm....
you can also go with the cheapo ebay CAI's.

a few of my friends have them and they work fine. you could always get one and use a different filter like a K&N if the one that comes with it looks flimsy
