no boost or nitrous
What kind of hp can I expect to produce if I dont go with nitrous or turbo? I have a 94 accord ex with a f22. I searched and couldn't find an answer. What kind of mods would give me more hp to the dollar? I'm not lookin to go all speed racer yet but a little extra oomph would be nice.
I dynoed 143hp (to the wheels) with every bolt on imaginable.
I've yet to see any F22 dyno more than 160hp NA.
You can search for the bolt ons, but I would do an AEM cold air intake first.

First of all, how much you willing spend to go Fast?
Bolt on are great but it limited..
turbo=depend on size, fine tuning and how well is your engine built.
n20=cheap way to gain horsepower, but kinda boring to driving without it.
you need to refill after a while. Consider cheating by some people.
turbo accord is Cooooming! soooon!

I guess I'm willing to spend a grand, maybe a little more. I guess fast is all relative. I consider my car fast, I've never really been in a really fast car, so a little more and I'll be happy for now. Your talkin to a kid whose first car was his mom's old minivan so my accord is like a dream to me. I'd love to turn it into a total sleeper someday when I get cash but for now just lookin for the basics.

Hehe..i drove my uncle's boosted rx7 and I will never forgot how hard it pull that thing is a rocket.
really think it over what you really want.
all motor=swap in h22a, pp, bolt on,etc
boost=great power gain, fine tuning=more horsepower
N20=not always on but it's cheap and pretty safe(althoug someone just blew some value by using n20)

Okay niedejb, your saying no more than 160 whp with bolt-ons?
I'm building the **** outta my F22, and if it doesn't top 200 hp I'll be disappointed.

Going with new internals....maybe.

The only thing I bought from GUDE was a overbored TB, and they screwed that up. It came with the cams misaligned and the local shop had to fix it and recalibrate the TPS. If you want to build an F-series, contact Race Engineering. They've got all the go-fast parts including rods, pistons, and valvetrain components. WEB can get you the camshaft, and for head work nobody beats Tom at Port Flow.
If I had it to do over again, I'd have done an H22 swap. It would have been cheaper and I'd have more room for improvement.

I'd love to do an H22 swap. Problem though. My motor is just too new to do a swap. Some members will agree with me on this one. Our choices for big gains are turbo, and nitrous. And a supercharger for the V6 owners.
"isn't nitrous real bad for your engine though?"
n2o is pretty safe but ANY power adder hurts the motor.
the right tuning and right driver makes all the different i guess.
I dont really like gude's products..some of the number in the ads, they make it up..
h22a is great..i mean it's a stock engine and it will serve you right.
Like crono said, someppl want to keep their motor
