Anyone using the Jimfab traction bars?
Need some traction bars, I have some serious wheel hop even after alignment and new tires. I plan to get some motor mounts as to help as well and I was probably gonna go with the Jimfab mounts. They also have traction bars and I was just wondering if anyone has tried them out yet. I know about the Z10 bars but just wanna compare a few options. Lakewood also has bars (steel and Ti) and they seem decent as well. Any input would be great. Thx
albert (mugen76) has em but hasnt installed them yet... they look much more sturdy than the z10's...

my friend has the JimFab traction bars on his EF and he has little to no wheel hop now. he said his steering has also improved since the install for some reason, he says it feels almost like he has power steering. but with the EF kit, i believe it replaces the crossmember
The Z10 bars are way overpriced.
Jimfab has a superior design in geometrically. The Z10 bars work but before you do anything see if stiffer motor mounts solve your problem. If you don't do inserts you can get whole mounts from Jimfab also, at a killer price.
IM FFGeoff for the skinny.

Yes, the Z10 bars work but the Jimfab geometry is better. The Z10 design puts a lot of stress on the shock fork bushing which destroyes it over time but new Prothane bushings only cost like $15 so no big deal for me. I also have the bushing bracketed by two large stainless steel washers which distribute the load.
Anyway,
both designs work,
Jimfab is better,
They do make a remarkable difference

Im curious about this as well since Im running the Sp00m header which is infamous for is clearance issues because of the way the primaries run. I cant get under my car right now to get a better look on the clearance.
do you guys have header clearance issue with the traction bar?
I have Noticed Wheel Hop to be more Associated With Poor Front Shocks and or Mis-Aligment!
Mis-Aligment could Be At fault Because of Worn Bushings Or heavy suspension Travel!

the thing on the bottom right is a fender support that leo @ jdmpspecperf.com is introducing soon. the thing on the top right is a NISMO front lower frame brace for a 240SX.
