Ok guys this past weekend has literally kicked my *** and gave it back to me.
As you all know my newest mod to my car was a jdm type R carbon fiber lip that I just recently got and have been watching every little hole and object in the street. Every where I would park my car would be far from any other car so as not to attract dents or dings. Well here is how the horror of this past weekend past..

Thursday

After having a really long and tiring week I was getting ready for a weekend of relaxing. I get off of work and head home to pick up my gf so we could go to the mall. I get to the mall and we go in for just the items we need and hurry and get out of the mall before the idiots come out. As we exit the mall I see a few cars around me which was really annoying at this point because I parked out in the middle of no-where waaaaaay in the back of the parking lot with no one in site. I come out to see my car surround by the biggest pos of all cars around me. With plenty of empty spaces ( around 9 spaces) that are all in a row and closer to the door. We get in my car and we then leave to head on home.

Friday morning

As I exited my house around 6:25 am to warm up my car for school which was at 7am I noticed a black mark on my front bumper. As I inspect it closed I soon notice that the black marks were actually two engraved marks that were tore into my front bumper and two smaller scratches were right above the two deeper scratches. As I looked at the bumper I then noticed a mark on my cf hood. As I looked closer at the hood I then noticed it was cracked, about a 2 inch by 1.5 inch cracked and spidered that was on my cf hood now. I have my car parked in my driveway and no one parks in front of me so I then knew the damage was done at the mall while I was inside. Damn ********!!!!

Friday night

Well after talking with the insurance company for a very long time about the damage and having correct thier idiot person who took the report over the phone ( she noted that I hit someone, when the truth was, I was hit at the mall while I was parked) After being kind of pissed about what had just happend and finding out I will be paying a 5oo.oo dollar deductable to cover the crap that just happend I then decided to take my gf out to dinner to forget about what had just happened. On the way home I notice my low fuel light come on and took the first exit that came up. I pull into the chevron and pull up to the pump and filled up on 91 octane which had just sky rocketed from 1.80- 2.05.. I finish putting gas and then enter back onto the freeway to head on home. As I am about to enter a pontiac gt enters on and then begins to drive 40mph onto the freeway and continued to drive that speed when the posted limit was 65. As I enter the freeway I then start making my way toward the far left lane, but as I begin to do so, the pontiac then decides cut me off with no turn signal or any type of notice. As soon as he cuts me off he runs over a piece of tire and throws it at my car smashing my Carbon fiber type R lip and trapping the lip as well as peice of tire under my car almost making the car lose control. As I get control of the car and turning the wheel sharply to get the garbage that was stuck under my car lose. I finally manage to do so and exit the freeway on the next exit. I then pull into a shopping center to see what happend. As I came out to the front of the car I then noticed the crap that had just happend and the aftermath of the tire. The middle of the cf lip was now gone and all that remained were the sides and jagged edges of where the middle one was. My cf lip now looks like fangs.

After babying my car for so long and being cautious of where I parked, this crap has just kicked my ***. I was planning on getting the Tein SS suspension for a few track events I wanted to participate in, but I know have to get the repairs done before I can get the teins.

I guess **** happens and then you move on, but I just had to vent.

Cliffs:

Front bumper = deep scraps and engraved
Carbon fiber hood = Cracked and beging to spider bad
Carbon fiber type R lip = Raped!!!!

 

Rule #1: The more **** you are about your car - the more bad stuff happens to it
Rule #2: The left lane of traffic is always full of a-hole drivers and road debris
Rule #3: In five years - you're not going to give a **** about any of this.

things could have been worse!
IF you get Tein, I would not reccomend getting a lip, for me personally, they are a waste and shouldn't be used if you are lowering your car

You prolly wont drive in a fashion as to put your life or others in danger, but atleast you did not suffer the same fate as the kid who i just posted about! He wont live to learn from his mistake!
The lip was a good cosmetic accessory, but in the world we live in, the variables and the population will not permit something that nice to stay intact. Unless it is driven rarely and is going to be in a place where you know nothing will happen to it. As for your hood, that just sucks... you should have prolly checked it better before you left the mall and saw all those cars near you. Atleast then you could have gotten a license plate # or two and had someone to go after or question with your insurance company. And even though it wont help your car either way, when you park far away from other cars, it usually means there is something special about it. With the retard hillbillies out there that hate anthing that does not sport a confederate flag, you better bet your best button that your car will be fucked with. Hate to see a gorgeous car get messed up. Sorry man!!!

These rules are true, but it just bugs the **** out of me.
And when I was going for the far left lane I hit the tire on the far right lane as I was entering the freeway. I just get pissed when you put alot of hard work and time into your car and some ******* hits it or F**ks it up. I am getting my insurance to cover it all, and as for cosmetics that was all I was planning to get for the exterior. Next on my list was a new suspension for track use. So after I pay my deductable and get my crap fixed I'm dumping more funds into the suspension and auto X events. And I'm also saving for a house, so I'm taking things one step at a time.

Like I said **** sucks around here and it seems that idiots are breeding faster then roaches.
Oh well some teins and recaros and I will be set to go for the track, and hondata can't hurt either..lol

sometimes babying ur car too much is just too much.. learned it the hard way

 

use to wash my car every other 3 days and kept it clean.. til on day I got a nassty dent on my door in a parking lot... damn luxury cars!
