Set v-tec at 1k rpm. I want to see your motor blow due to lack of oil pressure. Comon $300 on a v-afc. You could of spend it on some cams. That would of given more hp than a stupid v-afc.
as i said before the vafc is not in my car. i have installed it in a friends integra. i agree with everyone on here to do other mods first i have a 98 prelude and am not investing in vafc till other stuff is done first. I know the vafc wont gain much out of the car as of now but i would like to get as much as possilbe. Once i can get the car up to toledo when we have time i can throw it on dyno at a friends shop however for the time being i just wanted to see what other integra drivers where running with theirs.
thanks anyhow
thanks anyhow
Don't adjust anything
Playing around with A/F ratios with out a dyno is an easy way to go way to lean or way to rich and causing problems.
In most cases when tuning you use your FPR to increase the fuel, and then the AFC to lean it out where needed. Start leaning out the fuel with out a dyno and a wideband o2 and unless you are beyond lucky you are going to run into serious problems.
