disc conversion on a 4th gen
i am getting a 90 honda accord i have a 91 right now as far as i know they are the same.. my question is can i take the rar disc's off of a 92-93 accord and put them on the 90?? or does the 90 already have disc's in the rear?? if not how hard would it be to convert??
i have a 92 ex, and i have disc in the rear. as far as i kno, the 92-93 accord EX has disc in the rear...i believe the 90-91 EX does as well, but if not, i would think it's be a pretty easy swap, but as for hooking up the calipers, i dunno how you would go about that.
It's probably the same as my civic hatch swap. Take the rear trailing arms/hub assemblies and brake lines. You might run into a problem with the brake lines seeing that drum brakes use a metal line that runs into the wheel cylinder and disc brakes use a rubber hose with a brass eye fitting bolted to the caliper. With my brake lines, I took the rubber hose from the disc brakes and connected it to my metal line. Parking brake might give you some problems too.

Go over to the HS board or he could be here too. His name is bustedlx. But from my understanding everything bolts right up. He's is about to do it and I know there at least 3 people that have done this over there.
