Default Chipped!

Just chipped the PM6 ECU for my D16A6. Soldered a socket in and tried out the three chips I have... settled for one with an 8200 redline.

Pulls a little stronger... not much. Pretty much gave the car more fuel throughout the RPM range. I used to knock it off the rev limiter every now and again but I'm a little wary of taking the stock 210k mile valvetrain to 8k+... but I do have a head/cam being worked that should turn the car past 8500.

For those of you who have chipped cars... where did you get your chip at? I may need a different one when I get the new head/cam on.

Pistons/rods are being changed with the new head and cam.

Won't push the car stock to 8k... it won't take it. The new chip just happened to have an 8200 RPM limit.
