Question about techedge and my a/f
I bought prophets tech edge this weekend and conntected it. I taped the power source from my fuse box and grounded it to a good clean ground. We took my car for a ride to check the a/f and it was running between 19 all the way up to 24. Now everyone I have talked to has said this is impossible for the car to be running like that. We added a bunch of fuel but now my car is/was running like ****. So I reloaded the old map. Could the tech edge be off? And if so what would be casuing it to give wrong readings? Prophet said it may not be getting enough volts to the unit. Any help would be great.
what version? IIRC, the older version (1.0) needs at least a constant 13.2 volts or something like that all the time to function correctly. the newer versions (1.5)need 11.0 volts. the version is displayed when the wideband display is powered up.
