My goal here is to have a valve cover on my LS with the center plate that the VTEC engines have. I know already that the VTEC covers wont fit on the LS. I wanna know if there anywhere I could find something that gives me that look. NO, I dont wanna be a FAKE VTEC motor, I think the look is much cleanier then the LS. So any info about making one, or buying one would be nice.

I think he means the DOHC valve covers.....you can replace the head, but I think thats overshooting your goal...

 

yes, dur, im sorry, The spark plug cover. I cant replace the head. I just want that look for my LS. Can it be done? Does someone sell covers for an LS that fits?

Forget about your LS head, just slap on a vtec head. It would be alot faster and then you wouldn't be worrying about that. But nowadays who wants ls/vtec?

Moroso's is the only one I've ever seen that has a spark plug cover for LSs. There really isnt any point. Do you have ugly spark plug wires or something???

Moroso's are pretty ugly. I like the VTEC cover look alot more, its cleaner. no other real reason then that.

 

Anyone know where I can get a Spark Plug Cover for a H23A, Something that matches the Valve Cover's Texture.
I found this but, its aluminum, and total Contrast witht the Valve Cover.

 

I am trying to think is there any where that you can bolt one down? I would mabye pay a visit to your local body shop and see if they could mod a VTEC cover to fit on the Non-VTEC. Question do you have the older style LS valve cover or the newer style?

 

yes, the moroso VALVE coer is very plain, wouldnt say ugly, but plain. but thats not what hes talking about, he just wants the plate that runs down the middle, covering the spark plug wires.

Yes, we know what he wants. There is no valve cover for the LS/CRV head that has what he wants. The Newer pics of the Moroso ones show that it has it, but I believe they're just showing the VTEC valve cover model. The reason is because the spark plug cover bolts are really just extended bolts that double as holding the valve cover down. The bolts for the LS are in the middle, where the spark plug wire holders are attached to.

 

Now that we are on the subject of valve covers, does anyone know of a non vtec valve cover that will fit my b18c1. Going for the more low key approach and dont want another reason for thieves to vandalize. Thanks in advance. Have a

No, but some of the guys on this board have grinded down the DOHC and VTEC symbols. It looks really nice. There are a few pics on here somewhere...

 

My friends did that and painted it all black...looks good! kinda a sleeper look. But a spark plug cover for an ls....? anyone hhave one? i want to see it too

 

well we can make one jesse... we can drill holes and then tap them put in studes then have a cover machined... i have all the tools to tap and all that and i dont know the price of machining... maybe one will fit off at vtec motor

 

better yet we can make a mold off of the dimensins we figure and i can send it to my friend and he will make it in carbon fiber

 

the 96+ valve covers look a **** lot better than 94-95

 

really, is that gonna cost an arm and a leg. I would so do a CF cover with the spark plug cover. well talk more about this later! thanks Kail!
