whats the difference between H&R springs between 90-93, 96-97 compared to 94-95
anyone know whats why 94-95accords have a different part number for H&R springs compared to 90-93 and 96-97. Eibach has the same spring for 90-97. Ive heard rumors that 94-95 springs a shorter. Is this the only difference?? I have a 94 and lowered with H&R sports however its more of a drop than what the specs say(1.75).
did you try searching first?
94-95 had shorter springs. I'm not sure if the perch height is diff, neuspeed customer service told me it is, but they looked similar to my bilstein struts. Idunno. If someone has 96-97 or 90-93 stock springs and can measure them, i can measure my 94 springs someday.

yes i tried searching.. I want to know if the difference in spring length is the only difference between the two. I tried calling H&R and they wont tell me. does anyone know for sure??
yes springrates were the same according to neuspeed. I dont know if H&R use the exact same design as neuspeed springs (they list same lowering), i assume it is, but their customer service was less helpful than neuspeeds when i called... they would not give me the springrates. I might have neuspeeds springrates somewhere, ill check later.
btw do you know the stock springrates? i've always been looking for that.

I tried calling H&R and they wouldnt tell me either.. I understand that H&R at one time did make the springs for Neuspeed. So do you know if the spring diameters are the same? Is the only difference the length of the spring? I have the H&R sports for a 94-95 on my 94 and its about a 2-2.25 drop. Which is more than what i want. So if the difference is just the spring length then i might switch to springs for the 96-97.

you also need someone w/ both pairs of stock struts to measure hte perch heights. I cannot find one set of my 94 struts, i have both fronts, but cannot find my rears.
Then see if your current (if they are aftermarket) struts use the same perch height... if the aftermarkets used a lower perch height, using 94-95 shorter springs would yield a higher drop.
i'm glad i got prokits, one size for all years, along w/ bilsteins w/ 2 perch height selections.
