rebar removal concerns
I noticed that some people remove the rebar to install monster intercoolers. will this:
-weaken the car considerably
-make the handling sloppy
-get you killed in a front end collision
..or am I mistaken and the removal will do nothing but lighten the car?

thats what strut towers fix
yes
the rebar is mostly used to absorb front end impact at lower speed to where it will not damage the chassis and rad support siginificantly...
but, look at me, I have JDM front end on my car, the front rebar is only about 1/2" wide and 1/8" thick....if it's time to go, it's time to go...

also aside from the safety issue, the fram rigidity will not suffer?

so, you're saying you're willing to die to have a fast car?
also aside from the safety issue, the fram rigidity will not suffer?
