Did you install it correctly? With the clamp going around the horn AND the lower bracket you install with one of those bolts going into the chassis? It shouldn't be able to move anywhere if you install it right. Mine hasn't moved an inch. I think this is simply installation error.
edit- You can buy a replacement horn from Comptech.

well unless you had comptech install it for you i don't think you should be mad at them. maybe you should be mad at the person who installed it. their installation directions were step by step....i mean i barely know my way around the engine bay and i did the installation in about 45 min to an hr.
No problems with mine and I had it off Friday night when I did my Clutch install.
Comptech is an Expo sponsor and I have been evry pleased with their service as a customer and as the expo organizer.
I woudl say call and talk to Bob. Tell him Trey suggested youspeak to him and see what he could suggest. I had a peice break and they were super cool about replacing it.
Also make sure you clamp the lower piece down right. Not saying you didn't but it is pretty straioght forward that woudl be sure you have a good hpose clamp and that you put the clamp on the cut section of the lower piece to secure it to the upper.

i got my icebox used, and it wasn't terribly snug on the lower horn bracket, so i cut some pieces from a big hose clamp and wedged them in for plenty of traction in that area. no problems since. Comptech has always impressed me with their customer service, which is why i keep buying their stuff...hell, they replaced the entire B pipe on my GS-R's comptech exhaust 2 years after i bought it, because of a hole that was probably my fault anyway.
comptech.
comptech.
The Icebox design with that stupid iolet tube is horrible. Mine was always comming loose until I got a second hose clamp to hold the tube on to the rest of the assembly (in addition to the clamp holding it all to the bracket you install).
Bad engineering on Comptech's part IMO.
For those saying their customer service reps. are nice; **** that. That has nothing to do with the quality on product they produce.

I do NOT clamp mine to any brackets. I installed the braket to prevent rubbinbg but the hose clamp is only on the 2 tubes to secure them together. no problems what so ever in 20,000 miles. This is the same design AEM uses to hold their filter on and the same Iceman uses to hold their piping together. What addidtional engineering should they consider?

Why dont you guys glue the damn tube in???
Most of us have no need to as this isn't a common issue from the way it sounds.

I had my inlet horn come off like twice. I just put a little duct tape around where the two pieces fit togther. Just to make it a bit more snug.
Comptech is an AWESOME company. They do stand behind their work! I've seen it first hand, and on many friends cars. They're always willing to help the customer out.

The only way it would just fall out and off is if the front bumper undertray and or fender liner were missing. In which case I can see being upset with losing the Comptech tube But, the fender liner/under front bumper tray is a bigger issue at that point.

So im cruising along today and hear a crunch...i get home and check and yep..the inlet tube on my comptech icebox is gone...guess in stead of thightening it every day, i should have been doing it twice a day
so does anyone know where i can buy that piece from? or maybe know what kind of performance difference ill get from running without it? has anyone dyno tested back to back with and with out that piece?
this sux dammit...any suggestions?

if i still had my icebox, i'd test how much torque is needed for that piece not to come loose, but if your clamp gets loose - its because its not tight enough - it might feel like plastic elbow it goin to crack - but thats how tight it has to be.
