this is actually a friend of mines problem. his fuel mixture leaning out at part throttle. it idles fine but when he touches the throttle the air/fuel gauge goes into red lean and the car wants to die. and this doesnt happen at WOT, it can just be at 10% throttle. his setup is b16a1 JRSC SKunk2 stage 1 cams springs retainers,i/h/e, completely upgraded fuel system set at 40psi. the motor has been rebuilt and bored a little. i am not sure how much. he has the AEM EMS but he hasnt touched it b/c there is a tuner in michigan he is bringing the car to for tuning. we cant really drive the car up there like this.
