Im gonna install a Drag Gen 3 kit . what else do i need to do to make it sleeper? so far i got:
painting the intercooler black
quiet BOV (which one??)
quiet exhaust (apex WS? greddy EVO?)
paint piping black
stock gsr rims w/ better tires

ANYTHING ELSE???

Want it to be a sleeper? trade me your stock rism for my steelies + hubs

 

get a greddy BOV and route it back to the intake pipe. Just like the eclipse and talon. That should help quiet the bov without hurting performance.

 

Fo real?? you had a EVO before? but isnt it sill way quieter than an apexi n1 or hyper medalian?

Get a custom 2.5" exhaust with a ES oval Muffler for the stock look and nice sound.

 

My EVO is very quiet even with no cat.

 

lol evo loud? is that a joke..mine almost sound like its not there specially when im on the freeway i hear more wind noise hitting the side of my car then my exhaust..

 

you really want to make it a sleeper,

get some ghetto chrome rims 16s
an apc muffler
couple apc stickers
get some home made grill stuff for the front (hides the intercooler)
some more vynal here and there

and everyone will think that you are just an everyday ricer, all the mustang and maro owners will just point and laugh

If you want to make a real sleeper, heres what you should do. Make it look like an RS. paint the mirrors black as well as the moldings...or trade for some that arnt painted. Dont have it lowerd too much. Id also add some steel wheels with factory rs hubcaps. Keep it as quiet as possible. Put all the RS badges on it. Hide any gauges. And so on...

The ultimate sleeper car nowadays is either a completely rusted-out shitbomb, or a completely riced out car with stock wheels....
I love(not really) seeing a wing that clears the roof by a foot, stock wheels, stock body-height, and cant forget the ever-persistent Altezzas....

 

pretty much any clean fast integra is a sleeper when u race domestics and fast japan cars. those guys never expect it. if u r trying to be a sleeper to other hondas then thats a bit tougher.

Look at st00pid's last post regarding the monster ls civic they are doing. Have him make you a DP w/ the electric exhaust cutout.

 

Howabout run the stock exhaust with an electronic cutout? That way you can have your car be as quiet as stock at the push of a button, but run open downpipe the rest of the time. That's what I do:

 

Put some pillows and blankets in it....that's how you get the ultimate sleeper...

 

Take out anything that would make YOU go hmmm if you saw it on someone else's car. ie; bling shift *****, pedals, harnesses, cool seats, rear strut tower bar (if no cargo cover), C pillar bar, have a stock looking tip put on the exhaust, paint all aftermarket suspension pieces flat black, no vtec stickers, steelies....

 

Leave the exhaust stock.

 

honestly, everyone seems to have a drop, rims and an exhaust, so i wouldn't be to concerned with not doing that. Just hide your guages and intercooler as best as possible. Oh yea, if you put a cage or something, get some light tint.
