Default First autocross of the season, saw an interesting ITR

We had our first autocross of the season down here in Richmond, VA and it was a great event. the weather was perfect and the course was nice, into 3rd at parts. It felt great to get back out there after the winter. I'll have some pics up later. Anyway, after I pulled up I saw a 97 R parked off in the pit area. "Cool," I thought to myself. I loked over a few times and the owner was never there so I figured I'd cathc up with him sometime. Anyway as I was waling past pregrid I waled by the car and thought to myself "Man those headlights look beand new." i continued to look at the car and saw no dings, scratches, or anything. I peered at the odometer and saw 1934miles. I looked to the right of the number thinking it was 101934miles. I was wrong. It was a 1997 Acura Integra Type R with less then 2k miles on it!! After catching up with the car I learned it was part of a Honda/Acura training program, and the car had spent its entire life indoors. Apparently he works there and it was time to get rid of the car and he was offered a price he couldn't refuse. I got a few pics but didn't manage to get any of the odometer before he left. I'm sure he'll be at the next autocross. -Ryan who is thinking it's almost a shame to drive the car, and on its original RE010s, but I couldn't help but drive it either

"A shame to drive it..."
no way!
It would be a shame to let it rot away in a garage somewhere.
to the owner for using the car for what it was designed for
