have some 14x5 rims, looking for some decent tires. stock sizing is 185/60, and i usually hear of people running a 195/55 setup. opinions on sizing and tire choice wanted. thanks.

 

Falken Azenis, of course, are awesome and inexpensive, but the only 14" size they make is 195/60, which is a little bigger than your stock diameter.

 

The 195-55-14 size is really good for what you want. I've used the 14" azenis and also some 55 series 14's on 14x5" wheels, and the 55's allow for better acceleration. I think there is only one non-competition tire (dunlop) in that 55-14 size now as the potenza got discontinued. You're asking about street tires right?
