HEY guys...i was wondering if anyone with wings west body have problem with Exhaust Clearence...
It seems that my Apexi N1 is almost touching the rear lip....I'm afraid to burn a mark on newly painted lip. Anyone with similar experience....
What should i do? Lower my muffler a bit more? Help guys..

All I did was cut around the where the exhaust was touching the rear lip. Here's a pic but I don't know how well you can see it.

 

any of you all have a problem with the back piece comin off the bumper.

 

You can probrably go by a muffler shop and get some longer rubber hangers. That will drop you muffler some, a friend of mine had that problem a that how he solved it.

Went to Pep Boys and bought 2 longer rubber hangers for 8 bux each. Solved tha problem, and yes my lip has come apart at the corners, time to redo it.

da_rockwilda is very jealous nice ride...mine looks the same cept i dont have the hood, clear corners, rims, side skirts, the drop and i have a wing(OEM)

i love it, IMO wings west side skirts are the nicest ones out there! aside from mugen but its hard to tell unless you look for the mugen insignia

 

I went to Kragen, Pep boys you name it...there weren't any longer hangers that had the same diameter holes as the stock ones. (For a snug fit)

I ended up having to get my exhaust hangers extended. Took 5 minutes. 10 bux. Easiest thing to do.

If you have the lip on already...and it hasn't burned or melted the lip, then you are fine - even if it's close to touching. Mine slightly started to melt 5 minutes after I got my kit on. I ran into the grocery store and bought a kitchen mitten...and stuffed it in between the lip and exhaust until I could get to the Muffler shop. Heres a pic:

well i know a guy (blue GTR familia on 323gt-r.com ) that is like best mates with BODYFORM, who made his front bar.. hes really cool, and could maybe even get a cheap price for me if i ordered stuff through him.. he may be able to get the kit in, or even have his own copy... he does good work too, but ill have to ask Anthony anyway (empire, gtr )

thanks for everyone's feedback....i've decided to take my Apexi N1 off and found a OEM type R exhaust, so i think i'm gonna go with the factory exhaust....
Even when i put the rubber spacer, the tip is still close to the rear lip and after driving to Barnes and Noble "only 10-15" mins away....the rear lip hot SUPER hot....
