Default Installing coilovers, quick question about brake-line bracket

installing some bilstein/GC/Eibach coilovers on the R today, just a quick question...is there any way or am i supposed to pop the brake-line bracket from the bottom of the front stock shocks over to the bottom of the coilovers? it looks like it might be a sleeve of some sort, but i don't wanna bother if it's not going to come off (nor do i want to break something.) thanks!
