Anyone going to this event in April? I have been invited to go by one of the sponsor/vendors and would really like to but would need to find a way to justify it from the business end.

I've not been to the track yet and would like to see it. We have a new externally rebound adjustable rear shock for the ITR (replacing the one that had to be removed from the car) and this might be an interested, focussed audience.

 

Its gonna be off the hizzy! (sorry, couldnt resist)

Seriously, it looks like a fantastic event with alot of big name sponsors and tons of ITR owners - if they arent there, they will certainly hear about it.

 

I think I am too old to know what "the hizzy" means but I get the feeling this means it should be a good event.

It will be a well attended event with lots of modified vehicles

 

if they hatchcrapper will make 4 events (2day HPDE's) and a cross country drive in under 4 weeks then i will be there....i might end up somewhere between...don't know yet! i am scheduled to go....

Its going to be a big event, I will be instructing, and as far as I know, Cobalt is bringing their rig up as well, like they did at VIR.. I need a car to drive you know..

 

I wana go!! Been trying to find out if they will let a prelude run with them, if they say yes I'm there! Damit! take my money and let me on track!

 

if it ain't an R, it ain't gonna be on track (unless you are instructing)

Agreed... I will be there with SE-R and/or Miata R and/or non-H/A rental thrasheR; I am signed up to instruct although I've never been there before, and I'm definitely helping out with pit/grid/whatever as needed. It looks like it will be a blast... I can't wait

Found out today that I won't be able to go, my wife already has the weekend booked for a horse event (it was more fun when we shared hobby interests instead of splitting them and the budget). Looks like I'll be minding our 2 year old that weekend. It is a little far for he and I to road trip for one day but we will still try to get to the HC event the weekend prior at Mid-Ohio. Better to trade a non-personal track time weekend for my own race events later in the season.
