Is it normal to have brown valve ? Because the head was stored in the three last month ? http://home.1asphost.com/plonger/si-head.jpg

It looks like, at one point in time, your head gasket was bad. That is burned up anti-freeze on your valves. You may even have a cracked head. Thats how mine looked when my head cracked.

I'd suggest taking it to a shop and getting it tested.

I cleaned the valves with a Dremmel with a wire brush then polished them so they were smooth.

what the **** happened to the gasket surface of that head??
did u sanded that?????
u only use a sharp razor.... that might take the seal off the gasket, making an uneven seal.......... maybe a leak that messed ur head up...
but other than that take the head to a machine shop
they will be able to tell u whats that caused by..dont take peoples opinions here... its hard to tell by jsut a pic.... u gotta check the roufness and all that......

Its obvious that he cleaned all the head gasket material off in the 1st pic.

dont take peoples opinions here
I always thought we used this forum to post opinions and help trouble shoot a problem.

Besides the nonsence, take the head to a shop and get it pressure tested.

sorry if it sounded bad against us
i have helped a lot of people... and i have been helped a lot of times
what i ment its that on that spceific case, in wich he has a picture of valves wich are abou 1.5 inches.... at a distance.... its very hard to predict whats the cause of that discoloration, just wanted to say to take it to profesionals....
