I was driving the other day at 2:00 at night and I hit a pot hole so deep it replicates the grand cannon(not really, but you get the point I hope). All of a sudden I hear air hissing ...so my brand new Falken Ziex tire on the front left wheel was trashed. I jacked the car up then and used a flash light to see if I damaged the bottom of my car any, but no damage was done(Thank God).

My question now is ...should I get a brand new tire and just stick it on, or should I just stick w/ my two old rear tires(Each one has about 30 pecent tread left). Another question is how long can I drive my car on a donut ...seeing that I am driving responsibly and maintaining a max speed of 60 mph. I also pumped my donut up to 45 psi ...because it's a little smaller then all the other three tires.

donuts are only ment to get you about 100 miles.... but, hell... it works, why waste the donut???? eat it and use the tread wisely

 

i hope you put the donut on a back tire and moved a back tire up front. if not

UMMMMMM YES! and dont buy just one, youwill jack it up as well. if you replace one tire, you replace the other tire parrallel to it.
