I've done a search and I understand how you do it with the cam gears in regards to cam gear settings....... but how do you know if you are successful in tuning the overlap out??

is it visible in any way on a dyno chart??

basically this is for a shot of nitrous using bigger cams... like Toda Bs, Jun 3s....
