I was thinking of painting a set of clear corners red or amber but was concered with how they will look lit up. (cops will probably be **** about red front blinkers) Do they light up the color they are painted or does the bulb influence the color more?

Same deal with tail lenses, I have the 94-97 with the amber turn signal and I want all red but don't wanna spend $ on a new set.. When you paint them red does the blinker still blink amber or red?

 

I've heard that when you paint them red, it looks good for a while. But then they turn pink pretty quick. I dunno, never tried it personally.

 

Do not paint stock corners orange...i think it looks hideous when it starts to fade a little...get some cheap Clear corners and paint those....but to each his own
