Today me and a friend joined a local Porsche-Club at Hockenheimring.. It had been a "free" training, so we could lead ITR`s to track also...
We met some other Honda teams. An Accord R and another PY-ITR from Switzerland.
I shot some pics. Here is one of a car that looks familiar to me. But I can`t remember.. Does anybody know of what brand this car is ?

Ah, I know what you mean.. But it isn`t.
The rear looks totally different to the Datsun. I think it`s a Maserati or something like that.

Looks like the old Datsun 280 Z
My parents have a customer who left a 67 datsun,i think it's a Z too. This car back then was making 96hp from a 4 cylinder. But do any of you know where i might be able to find parts for this??.If not oh well no biggie.I just thought it'd be kinda cool to restore.

The CW (ITR #614) runs with shorter 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear now...
That is hell of a ride... I never saw a ITR revving to limiter in 5th on this short track (230-240km/h)... He is way faster than last year...
The ring... yes..
I think from May on every Sunday until Octobre...

The saturdays are closed because of official races this year...
Maybe I will come monday between 1 and 6 o clock PM..
In April, there are three autocross events I will do first... Than ring, ring ring ring... I have to learn to drive, have to learn the ring.
Thurdsay evening Hockenheim is open for free driving...
Everything is within my reach.
I will need a lot of tires and brakes this year

The ring is not a very suitable track to drive a car on the limit, IMO. I prefer a safer and shorter track like the new Nurburgring GP track to really improve laptimes and improve racing skills....

Sunday Morning 8 o clock is okay...
We also have the GLP racing series where you can drive professional on the ring.
And there`s Hockenheim also...
But if you can handle the ring, there will be no fear no more
