Post your feed back on the new EXPO logo.

 

It looks cool, but somehow reminds me of the late great Dale Earnhardt.

Put the dale earnhart 3 instead of that one. hehe.

Seriously, that 3 looks odd. The angled parts on the top and bottom should be the same. The part of the edge on the top edge of the sticker that goes down above the three should be the same on the bottom, or both parts flat.

I dont think you should use a drop shadow on the letters either. It would look nicer if you didnt.

btw im a graphic design student so I notice little things. Looks good, Im suggesting ways to clean it up a bit.

you should try to incorporate the factory text/colors of "integra Type R" into the top of the logo instead of just plain text. that and the fact that the 3 looks like dale earnharts number 3, id say it looks pretty good

 

actually, that sounds nice.

itr style logo for ITR

and for expo, make it into a more brushed font.

 

hmm, good idea. we may have a few proplems with copyright issues but Ill give it a shot....working

 

especially since honda/acura will be there at the hpde?

hmm.. we may want to get permission first , but i doubt that would be much of an issue.

ok...

better yet,

where you have "integra type R expo" written,

how about making the expo the entire section of that area,

then overlay integra type R on top, 80% of full size, as close to the real decal you can get?

i think that would look interesting

I like the first one. Second one might look better if the "Integra Type R" part was in the center of EXPO.

 

I think the word "EXPO 3 " is a little too big compare to " INTEGRA TYPE R"
The rest is good in terms of size.

Also, I will put red colour on the "R" but not the "3". I think the "R" means a lot more than the "3" and it should be stand out from the logo IMO.

Placement looks better in this one, but could the ITR part just be outlined in white instead of the solid white bar? I think it takes too much away from the EXPO part this way (just my 2¢)

I don't really like the NASCAR 3, reminds me of something you'd see on a hillbilly's truck

 

we don't really have much in the way of leway in the three, I have done about 40 3's and damnit, they all turn out to be NASCAR 3's. it just so farking burned in everyone skull.

The 3 stays, sorry. any last comments? I am starting the rest of the material for the expo in 1/2 hour. After that nothing changes. time now 3:00 EST

 

I thought someone was working on an ITR expo T-shirt and logo already?

I think roman numeral 3's would be leaps and bounds cooler looking.

 

they are me at 3:30 today I start the T-shirts and all the other stuff. I will be working through the night into sunday night, getting everything done and perfect.
