Ok i am confused, What is this pump thing on the side of my zc next to the cam gears??? Did the jdm si have power steering??? I was looking at other crx's w/ zc engines and non of them have this pump on there engine. I don't have a pic though. It has 2 cut hoses comming off it going toward the fire wall. My a6 engine dose not have this. Can you guys fill me in???

 

I'm 99% sure that they did come with power stearing.....Thats the only other thing it could be accually. Dunno if it was just the autos or if the M/T also had p-s

yeah, just unbolt it and take it off, its doing you no good. Its just something else spining off the crank pulley.

 

Heh I found that out when I ordered my ZC.. he was like "it comes with blah blah, power steering, blah". Is there any way to hook up the power steering? I probably wont, but if its easy I might do it.. it'd be nice to get out of tight parking spots without using muscle.

 

theres away to hook up the PS to your EF, but why? i like the way my rex is w/o the PS.

 

it'd be a pain in the *** replacing your steering rack with a power one and all that other crap.

 

I think you'd have to get an auto DX rack... big pain in the *** for power steering, which sucks anyways... don't need it on these light cars.
