This guy that i know is selling a gsr tranny for 600bux.The tranny was grinding in 2-3rd and so he had it rebuilt.I saw it and its real clean on the outside.I was wondering if this is a good deal.I asked if anything else is wrong and he said the shop said everything else is fine so he just had the 3rd gear grind fixed.What do you guys think.

jump on it if the 3-4 synchro hub has been replaced

 

Im not sure if that was replaced,but he said it was grinding in 3rd gear so he had it fixed and he put in about 300-400bux to get it fixed and assured me nothing else was wrong with it since the rebuild.

 

if you can look at the trans see if the seals look fresh on it and ask for a receipt

 

How can i tell if the seals are fresh?
