Ok this has now happened to me 3 times and its really starting to **** me off. A couple times when i've left car on and gotten out to do something (pick up mail, etc). When i get back to the vehicle and pull on the handle i can hear the power locks go off and the damn things lock me out of my car with my keys in the ignition.
I'm guessing that when i disarm my alarm/start the car the lock is kind of halfway between locked/unlocked. And when i pull on the handle the damn thing locks itself on me. Has this ever happened to anybody else, know of a way i can fix it?

 

Mine does the opposite, sometimes it won't lock (only in the cold). It's all good in the summer.

 

It's happened to me before. Do you have a DEI alarm (Cobra/PYthon, etc.)?

I always carry an extra key i my wallet.

Is this feature to stop Jackings, like when you start you car the locks will lock you in to stop someone form the outside opening you doors? I have something similar but it's timed from when I start the car, I've locked myself out once now I open the driver's windows if I'm closing the door.
