Cut & Weld Shift Linkage For B series swap.
How much do I cut and where do I cut on the shift linkage. I have an Integra XSi linkage and want to shorten it to fit my CRX with B series swap. The engine is sitting on hasport mounts. If anyone has a picture of how and where they cut it at or any good info that would help I would be very thankful. I want to cut & weld the right way any specifics would help.
It depends on where they cut the linkage on the B16. You are either going to have to cut and measure or just spend $150 form www.hasport.com and get a new one.

hey just mount the shift linkage to either to your tranny or your shifter, and see how much you need to chop off...find a spot in the middle of the linkage and chop and weld...that's all i can say coz that's how me and my friend did it, no exact measurements sorry...
hey iv done this and i can get a pic for you saturday night if you want. im going to be getting the hasport soon though because shifting feels like a stick in a can of soup. its hard to shift fast and the shifter is all over the place id say buy the hasport... trust me

You guys really don't understand how easy it is. Cut I believe 2_3/8" out of the straight part of the linkage. Make sure you weld it back together the same angle though. I usually scribe a line 6" long and cut the 2_3/8's out of it. Then line the scribe lines back up. All hasport is selling is the 90-93 Teg linkage with this mod allready done. I talked to Joe from Hasport in person at Mid-Ohio two years ago and he confirmed this fact. If you got the linkage allready don't waste your $$$.

Do you cut the part where it goes straight or the part where it bends a little? Thanks for the replies keep it coming. I just dont want to cut at the wrong location.

replace the bushing in the stablelizer bar
Hi folks. New to this board and car.
Question: for the welded implementation, are the crx/Integra shifters interchangeable, or must we use the Integra shifter?
Also, for the most rear bushing that's attached to the chassis, will (shortened) Integra linkage slide into the crx bushing or must this become an Integra bushing?
Thanks in advance for your inputs!
