Default Trying to compose an ITR drag time data base. Input please.

I've been thinking lately of us getting together all of the ITR drag times on Honda-Tech and compiling them into groups. I believe the LS1 forums have a similar list. I think it would be very useful to have a link for all of the non believers that think ITR's can't run mid 14's stock (or any other time with said mods). Instead of several pages of times we could have all of the times listed from fastest to slowest and instead of listing mods we could just have categories. I've come up with the following.

1. Stock head and bottom end NA street tire. These times are from ITR's using unmodified heads, stock cams, and stock bottom end/compression. Only normal engine bolt-ons are allowed. Times must be produced using true street tires.
2. Modified NA street tire. For ITR's with non-stock head and compression on street tires.
3. Stock Head/Bottom end on slicks.
4. Modfied NA slick.
5. Turbo street tire. Any street legal turbo ITR on street tires.
6. Turbo slick. Same as above on slicks.
7. Race NA. For non street legal NA ITR's.
8. Race Turbo. Same as above for Turbo ITR's.

I'm wondering for #1 if I should also make a seperate class for ITR's with tranny/ drivetrain modifications.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It won't be as much for ignorant people, but for people who just have no idea about ITR's acceleration in general and mod potential.

I'm not really wanting times as of right now. I just want suggestions on how it should be done. I believe it would be a great archive especially for the noobs.

Those archives are usually on newbie sites though with emphasis on kill forums. Who cares anyway, I can take my car to three different tracks around here and get three completely different timeslips. If someone's lucky to live next to a track that produces better timeslips then good for them.

Exactly.

Thanks for saving me the time to type it out.

What ever happened to that Honda/Acura 1/4 mile time website, from back in the day. Was it a part of G-Speed or something? Then there is www.dragtimes.com

I didn't say anything about proving myself to dumbass people. It would just be a nice quick way to look up times on a specific car. Just like the similar lists for other cars. Since most of us know each other our times and mods would be easy to verify. It might be useful for other people that don't drive ITR's to be able to compare times, if they wish to do so from a link, with times that would be fairly trustworthy. Instead of all the "what can a bolt on ITR run", "how fast are turbo R's", "what is you best 60' time on street tires" and so forth we could just direct them to a link and let them browse at their own will instead of having to shuffle through a bunch of posts.

Jeez I thought it would possibly help clean the forum of repeated questions, but I guess not. I'm sorry for ever thinking up such an insane idea.

Most here don't really care about drag anyway, I doubt you'd get a good response of Type R's. How about some road course lap times at tracks alot of us go to so we can compare, that would be cool. Of course stunnas wouldn't care about that but we shouldn't be trying to impress the stunnas anyway.
