anyone run into any problems getting there 1990 crx si inspected...

 

MY '89 passed PA just fine. Even Emissions with 175k was dead on. Goes for this years check and it will be fine because we get Exempt stickers for cars with less than 5k per year of use.
What are you dealing with there?

 

well emisions arnt being tested just MD state inspection... i fixed the bad rust sports but there are a few small one still... fixed the wipers... brakes are good, exhaust is fairly new... motor runs fine and all... is there anything else i should check first... i have till next thursday...

 

for md inspection these are the following things that are looked at:windows can't be cracked, all lights have to work and lenses have to be clear, tires have to have sufficient tread, doors/trunk/hood has to move freely, steering has to problem free, suspension should be well (no leaking shocks), wheel bearings can't make an apparent noise, e-brake, cv joints, speedometer, and bumper and fenders ahve to be fairly nice. i just passed my 89 hf. everything i just said was read off of my inspection sheet checklist. the mechanic should've told what failed anyway. you have the right to know.
