Will 255 50 15 tires fit on a integra. for autox?
Ok so at the shop i work at I got a used set of race rubber for free. they are really nice tires. the guy bought 16s'. Anyways I will be buying new rims for the Autox season. what size rim can i put on that will fit the 225's ?? And when i have them on, will there be any rubbing? I autox and do not want the tires folding over. I was looksing at some 15x7 inch rims, or some 15.6.5 but dont know what to exactally get. Thanks everyone.
I guess you mean 225-50-15? I believe most people would go with around a 15x7, 38mm offset. Depending on your suspension setup, you will need to roll your rear fender lip.
A lot of people run 225-50-15 Kumho race tires on the front of their Type R's. With a 5mm spacer up front, you'll get a slight rub on the plastic wheelwell liner but only when you turn the wheel all the way. In the rear, I never ran 225's, but a few of the Type R guys do...and you'll probably need a 5mm spacer.
On a Type R, I run 225/45/15's with +45 offset with 5mm spacers in the rear with a 15X7 wheel.
I really like the setup for track days and autocross.
I used to run 222/50 up front, but it was too tall and I didn't like the taller gearing that it gave me.

sweet, Im gonna mount them soon.
Anyone know a good supplier for the spacers? I guess I will need longet studs also.
